Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the website operated by Hibro Energy Services Limited. By accessing or using our website or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and placing an order with Hibro Energy Services, you confirm that you are in agreement with and bound by these Terms of Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our services.
2. Services Offered
Hibro Energy Services provides the following services:
- Renewable Energy Solutions (solar PV systems, inverter systems, battery storage, wind energy)
- Smart Security Systems (CCTV, alarm systems, electric fencing, video intercoms)
- Advanced Sound Systems (PA systems, multi-room audio, in-ceiling speakers, smart home audio)
- Access Control Systems (biometric systems, gate automation, time & attendance)
- Servicing & Repairs (preventive maintenance and emergency repair across all above systems)
- Technical Training (hands-on installation and commissioning courses)
3. Quotations & Pricing
- All quotations provided are valid for 14 calendar days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
- Prices are quoted in Nigerian Naira (₦) exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
- Hibro reserves the right to revise pricing if the scope of work changes materially after a quotation is accepted.
- A deposit (typically 50–70% of the total contract value) is required before procurement and mobilisation begin.
4. Payment Terms
- Invoices are due within 7 working days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- We accept bank transfers, cheques (business clients only), and approved digital payment methods.
- Late payments attract interest at 2% per month on the outstanding balance.
- Full payment is required before any warranty certificate or completion documentation is issued.
5. Installation & Delivery
- Installation timelines are estimates and subject to equipment availability, site readiness, and weather conditions.
- The client is responsible for ensuring unobstructed site access during installation.
- Hibro is not liable for delays caused by third-party suppliers, government regulations, or acts of God.
- Risk in equipment passes to the client upon delivery to site.
6. Warranty
- Workmanship: 12 months from the date of commissioning.
- Equipment/Hardware: as per the individual manufacturer’s warranty (typically 1–25 years for solar panels, 1–3 years for electronics).
- Warranty is void if the system is tampered with by a non-Hibro technician, subjected to misuse, or damaged by power surges beyond installed protection.
- Warranty does not cover consumables (fuses, batteries beyond cycle life, lamps).
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, graphics, logos, and software — is the intellectual property of Hibro Energy Services Limited and is protected by applicable Nigerian and international copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hibro Energy Services shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of our services.
- Loss of revenue, profits, or business opportunity.
- Damage to property caused by existing electrical or structural defects not disclosed before work commenced.
Our total liability in any matter shall not exceed the value of the contract giving rise to the claim.
9. Cancellation & Refunds
- Orders cancelled within 48 hours of placement and before procurement begins are eligible for a full deposit refund.
- Cancellations after procurement has begun will forfeit the deposit.
- Completed installations are non-refundable; disputes are resolved through our Warranty & After-Sales process.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
